I came (by mrt) I saw (lots of people) I conquered (my pride).

In reality I squeeze my way in, I wasted time squeezing, I left most ground untouched.

The mood was there, the trumpets still loud and crystal clear but the only disappointment was There is no REAL SALE anymore. There were plenty of gimmicks and hard sell for sure, but it seems to me the once shiny sales stage wasn't what it used to be. Most of the sales promoters are pretty much duh. Most did not even know their products well. I had this encounter with this chap who obviously knows nuts about his IT products but his irritable persistence may well get him some lucky sales. Why do i even want to let them earn the commission when all they did was to strut and snake around for some easy prey to close a quick deal? From a sales perspective, this is not wrong because it is all about the figures. Employing some part time kids who don't even know the difference between i5 and i7 to run the IT sales floor is a major flaw, unless the sale is what it was before.

I hear manpower shortage whispers in the background.

My teacher taught me KSA and these pushers showed me otherwise. I do not need a 10 minute lecture but the least you can do is to know what you are selling.

Pushy sales, switch bait tactics and plenty of snaking around. Time to get lucky?

Sounds familiar? I'll be the first to admit i was ridiculously naive and that was decades ago when i was once young and think of my world as only a mixture of RGB. All of us will grow pass young, but naive?! Get a grip and start learning how commercialism works. The ideal society is NOT so ideal and similar for every decent individual soul.

We love a good bargain with massive discounts and more freebies thrown in.

The Great Singapore Sale, Singapore Great Expo Sale, Singapore Comex Show, Singapore IT Fair used to be really good hunting ground for getting while stocks last deals but lately, more and more gimmicks are ambushed right before your next step.

Let's jump elsewhere.. not too far, not too close.

Many consumers are confused on whether to get a compact camera or digital SLR, especially so when the prices of digital cameras with interchangeable lenses have dipped quite a far bit. However it may be best to know what you really need from a digital camera first, rather than placing the price as the top determining factor when purchasing your camera.

Who makes the best cameras?

First, it depends on who you are asking these above questions. If you are asking a Canon fan, most probably he or she will recommend a Canon camera. If you are asking a salesman, most definitely it will push the brand and model with the most attractive commission. Ask someone from a neutral ground and what they prefer and prioritize may be totally different from yours. We have different expectations and it may be best to single out your top few requirements first.

Food for thought.

In my humble opinion.. no reputable camera-makers will put all eggs in one basket. They will be digging their own potholes and chopping off their own continuation lines. Why let the cat out of the bag when you can lead them on with twilight holes? On an erotic note, why bare it all in one go when you can slowly entice them piece by piece. Commercially, this is one of the oldest and most effective marketing move, even for home-wreckers alike.

So the all-time favorite classic requirement i heard from anyone looking for camera advice?
