Singapore Sexual Preference

Location: Singapore
The name Vincent Wijeysingha will ring a bell with most fellow politicians in shorts, and he made it through to the breaking news section of one of our local news portal. First politician to admit he's gay.

He revealed this on his facebook and yes, he is attending the Pink Dot gathering.

How will Singaporeans react if their MP is gay?

In a poll dated back in 2011, 76 out of 100 say they would not mind if their MP has a different sexual preference.

Not too far away in the Big Brother area, a recent poll from USA Today screams

Support for gay marriage hits high after ruling.

A record 55% of Americans support same-sex marriage.

Personally, i do not find gays or lesbians intriguing. They are who they are and i'm what i am. Just another fellow Singaporean or neighbor with a different preference that's all.

Sexual harassment still applies even if you are a gay or lesbian.
